At Seatown Sweets, we've been making cakes for Washington state since 2017 in our signature buttercream style. We make custom cakes exclusively in scratch-made, buttercream styles and motifs for occasions like birthdays, bridal showers, baby showers, and other life celebrations.
We do not work with fondant, and we do not make shaped/carved cakes. Please learn more about our sizing, flavors, and pricing below.

Cake Terminology
Let's Talk Cake!
A "layer" - a baked layer of cake that is alternating with the filling.
A "tier" - is a cake stacked on top of another cake.
A "serving" - is a standard slice of cake allocated per person
Size & shape
All of our cakes come with 3 layers of cake and 2 layers of filling. They are approximately 5"- 6" tall.

All our cakes are round or we offer heart shaped cakes.
We do not make square, carved shapes or sheet cakes.
DESIGN
We only work with buttercream frosting on the outside of our cakes which is vanilla buttercream unless otherwise requested. Our specialty is buttercream textures, whimsical features and floral styles. We do not "draw" illustrations, or licensed characters on cakes.
We do not work with Fondant and we do not make shaped figurines on cakes.
We do not provide real flowers on cakes.
ordering
We require a minimum of 7 days for custom cake orders. But we can book up sooner. Submitting an inquiry is not a guarantee of availability. Custom orders must be paid in full in advance to confirm your order.
Custom cakes must be ordered via email/inquiry form. We do not take custom cake orders over the phone or in person.

Our top level cakes consist of more elevated flavors such as fruit fillings with mousse fillings and/or specialty fillings.

Sometimes a cake design is so popular, we add it to our website for quick ordering. Be sure to check out these designs to see if they will fit your needs first before submitting a custom cake inquiry.
These cakes can be made within a 3 Day Turn Around Time. Order by Wednesday for Saturday/Sunday Pick Up
If you missed our 7 day lead time for a custom cake (above), we recommend you shop for a pre-designed cake on our website (below). These cakes can offer some personalization such as color changes and text options, so be sure to read each production page.

If you would like to inquiry about custom cakes after review the above information, please fill out the below form OR send an email to info@seatownsweets.com, we only need one submission, either method is fine. Only one submission per order, you can include multiple cakes in the same inquiry form, use the "Tell Us More" section to describe your cakes.
